As per the provisions in the charter party, the owner may designate an Agent. All fees and related costs are covered by the owner. The Agent’s responsibilities include securing Customs clearances, providing regular updates on vessel operations, facilitating swift vessel turnaround, managing owner’s funds, preparing statements of Port/Customs charges, minimizing owner’s expenses, and coordinating with charterers.
